Creating your church account on Linked.Church is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the signup process and initial setup of your church profile.
Step 1: Sign Up
Creating Your Account
- Visit linked.church and click the "Get Started" button
- Enter your email address and create a secure password
- Alternatively, you can sign up using your Google account for faster access
- Check your email for a verification link (if email verification is enabled)
- Click the verification link to activate your account
First Time Login
After verifying your email, you'll be redirected to the setup process where you can create your church's profile.
Step 2: Create Your Church Profile
When you first sign in, you'll be prompted to create your church profile. This is what visitors will see when they visit your link page.
Basic Information
Fill in the following details:
Church Name: Enter your church's official name
- This will be displayed at the top of your link page
- Example: "First Baptist Church of Springfield"
URL Slug: Choose a unique URL for your church
- This will be your link:
linked.church/your-church-name
- Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Make it memorable and easy to type
- Example:
first-baptist-springfield
- This will be your link:
Bio/Description: Write a welcoming message about your church
- Keep it concise but informative (2-3 sentences)
- Include your mission or what makes your church special
- Example: "Welcome to First Baptist Church! We're a loving community dedicated to worship, fellowship, and serving our neighbors in Springfield."
Profile Image
Upload your church's logo or a representative image:
- Recommended size: 400x400 pixels minimum
- Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP
- This image will appear at the top of your link page
- Make sure it's clear and recognizable even at smaller sizes
Step 3: Choose Your Account Type
Linked.Church offers two account types:
Personal Account
- Perfect if you're the only person managing the link page
- Quick and simple setup
- You can always upgrade to a team account later
Team Account (Recommended for Churches)
- Allows multiple staff members to collaborate
- Different permission levels for team members
- Better for churches with multiple ministries or departments
- Maintains continuity if staff changes
To create a team account:
- Select "Create Team Account" during setup
- Give your team a name (usually your church name)
- You'll automatically be set as the team owner
Step 4: Initial Configuration
Set Your Time Zone
Important for scheduling features:
- Go to Settings
- Select your church's time zone
- This ensures scheduled links appear at the correct times
Privacy Settings
Choose whether your page is:
- Public (Recommended): Anyone can view your link page
- Private: Only logged-in team members can view (useful during setup)
Step 5: Verify Your Setup
Before proceeding, make sure you have:
- ✅ Created your account and verified your email
- ✅ Set up your church profile with name and bio
- ✅ Uploaded a profile image
- ✅ Chosen a memorable URL slug
- ✅ Selected the appropriate account type
- ✅ Configured your time zone

- Add numbers if you have multiple locations
- Contact support if you believe there's an error
Need to change information later?
All profile information can be updated anytime:
- Go to your dashboard
- Click on "Settings"
- Select "Church Profile"
- Make your changes and save
